William's way of workingWilliam works in a holistic way with clients and believes in tailoring the therapy experience – using elements of different therapeutic approaches – to meet the needs and preferences of each individual. He incorporates elements from a variety of therapy approaches including: Counselling; Psychotherapy; Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT); Mindfulness-Based Therapy; DBT-informed therapy; Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy; Solution Focused Therapy; and the psychodynamic approach.

He has an MSc in Addiction and Psychological Studies from the University of Glasgow; a BA (hons) in Criminal Justice from the University of the West of Scotland; and an HNC in Social Care and Counselling from Motherwell College.
