Leandra's way of working
Leandra is a compassionate practitioner who aims to build a strong therapeutic relationship with each client and to create a space in which they can feel empowered to explore their difficulties and bring about change. Leandra tailors her approach to meet the needs and preferences of each person. She works in a person-centred and compassion-focussed way using cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT) as well as elements from emotion-focused therapy and schema therapy where she feels these may be helpful.Leandra is a native German speaker and she is happy to work with clients who feel more comfortable speaking in this language.
Leandra's background and training
Leandra has had several roles in the volunteering/charity sector which have involved supporting people with a variety of issues. Her experience includes working as a voluntary counsellor with a broad range of people and facilitating workshops on professional boundaries for professionals working in helping roles.
