Our Team

Dr Lauren Gray is a health psychologist who works with individual adults with a wide range of issues including anxiety, low mood, stress, physical health conditions, life transitions and difficulties with health behaviours such as eating and exercise.

Lauren has a particular interest in working with clients who are neurodivergent or who are experiencing the possibility of neurodivergence. In particular, she has experience working with late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD clients. Lauren also has an interest in working with clients who have chronic health conditions and she is particularly interested in working with clients who have hypermobility conditions and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. 
 

Lauren's way of working

Lauren is an empathetic, respectful and non-judgmental practitioner who aims to tailor her approach and work collaboratively with each client to meet their individual needs and preferences for therapy. Lauren's practice is grounded in Person-Centred Therapy while also drawing from other therapeutic approaches/therapies such as Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). 
 

Lauren’s background and training

Lauren has extensive experience working in a variety of supportive roles, including as a clinical support worker, research assistant, and play therapist, where she developed skills in psychological research, and therapeutic intervention.

Lauren has an undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology with a Specialism in Health from Glasgow Caledonian University, and a MSc in Health Psychology from the University of Stirling. She is currently working towards a doctorate in Health Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University.

Lauren is registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).


 

Lauren's fee
