Donna's way of working

Donna is a compassionate practitioner who offers a warm, welcoming space for clients. She takes an integrative approach to her therapeutic work which incorporates elements from a number of different therapies in order to provide an approach tailored to an individual's particular needs and preferences. She draws on a wide range of evidence-based therapies/approaches including Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), DBT-Informed TherapyMindfulness-Based Therapy, Emotion-Focussed Therapy, Art Therapy, Trauma-Focussed Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Schema Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Solution Focussed Therapy and Psychodynamic Counselling. She works collaboratively with each client to support meaningful change. Donna places great importance on the therapeutic relationship and considers it a privilege to accompany people as they navigate challenging periods in their lives.
 

Donna's background and experience

Donna has extensive experience delivering one-to-one counselling for a wide range of complex issues in both private and community settings. She has also taught on a professional counselling programme. Prior to her career in therapy, she ran a performing arts school. 

Donna holds a Higher National Diploma in Counselling and a Higher National Certificate in Addiction Counselling.

Donna is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).



 

Donna's fee
