Dr Jaclyne Di Croce

Dr Jaclyne Di Croce is an experienced counselling psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She works with clients with a wide range of issues including depression and low mood; anxiety; panic attacks; self-harm; trauma; eating disorders; abuse; relationship issues; low self-esteem; anger; sleep difficulties; and many more issues. Jaclyne works with children, young people, individual adults, couples and families.
Jaclyne uses a friendly, open and collaborative approach when working with her clients, and tailors her specialist knowledge to help meet each individual's specific needs and wishes. She is able to work with clients on a short-term or long-term basis.
As well as her clinical work, Jaclyne works as a psychological coach and offers a range of coaching courses to clients.
Jaclyne worked as the director of a clinical team within a larger programme, which specifically focused on weight loss, and the development and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle. While supervising therapeutic practitioners within the team, Jaclyne also worked closely with personal trainers and nutritionists to develop a programme that focused on change and motivation from a physical and therapeutic perspective.
In addition, Jaclyne led family workshops, which encouraged families to become involved in the client's lifestyle change. She ran presentations, education sessions and discussion groups, all of which focused on educating and encouraging families to become involved in the overall lifestyle change.
Jaclyne's training and approach
Having achieved an undergraduate degree in psychology from The University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, Canada, Jaclyne then went on to complete a doctorate in Counselling Psychology (D.Psych) from Glasgow Caledonian University and the University of Strathclyde.
She also has specialist training in various forms of therapy such as Person-Centred Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while also working with other therapeutic modalities such as Emotion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Schema Therapy.
